Barseat

Barsaet temple is located in Barsaet village, Tapoan commune, Sangkat district, about 15 kilometers east of Battambong provincial town. The temple was built in the 11th century, between AD 1036 AND 1042, during the reign of King damaged, and only the door frame remains. Next to this temple, there is an ancient pond that is an ancient pond that is 20 meters long , 12 meters wide and 10 meters deep. It holds water years round.


Sek Sork

Sek Sork is located in Treing commune, Rattanak Mondul district, about 50 kilometers southwest of the provincial town. It has long been a popular site or local people to visit. Sek Sork is a slope stream, about 500 meters long, from which water floes over a flat stone surface. there are green forest nearby and wild bamboo grows in rows along the stream, providing shade. Visitors to Sek Sork can also go to Pich Chenda Dangtung water bubble and Laang Spean Andet site, which are only about 6 kilometers away.




Sneung temple
The Sneung temple are divided into two pats–East Sneung and West Sneung . the East Sneung temple is located in Sneung pagoda, Sneung commune, Banan district, about 22 kilometers southwest of the provincial town. The temple, constructed of bricks on a hill, is 30 meters long and 20 meters wide. It features three separate shrines and is similar in style to other temples built during the 12th century. Behind the temple is a newer temple.

Ek Phnom





The Wat Ek Phnom, Battambang is a 10th century temple which exemplifies the history of the place. The temple was chiefly destroyed during the government/Khmer Rouge fighting. The temple reflects the Angkor-type temple ruin which lies at a distance of 15 km north-west of Battambang. The road approaching the place takes the travelers along the small river making the journey a pleasant experience. The experience is enriched by the trees and the greenery that punctuates the place. The periphery of Wat Ek Phnom, Battambang also has a Angkor temple in a batter shape which makes the place even more beautiful.

Sampov Mountain

Phnom means "Mountain" in Khmer. "Sampov" means ship. It is called Phnom Sampov because the mountain's shape resemble that of a ship, thus the mountain was named. Phnom Sampov is located 12 kilometers southwest of Battambang City along National Route57

Banan moantain

Banan Temple is considered to be one of the most popular tourist attractions in Battambang. The construction of the temple was started by King Uttak Yeatittya Varman during his reign of 1050-1066 and was finally completed by King Jaya Varman VII during his rule of 1181-1219. The architectural style was adapted from that of 11th and 12th Century.
The beautiful temple is located on the top of a mountain located in Kon Tey 2 commune in Banan District. The mountain is 400 meters high from which the visitors can get a spectacular view of the town and the surrounding area and the nearby Sangker River. Battambang is the second largest city in Cambodia that lies along the riverside of Sangker and is home to many interesting and historical sites and temples.
